Flowers from your wedding day become the starting point for an original work of art by Angela Izrailova. Preserved blooms are reimagined through painting and layered resin to create a one-of-a-kind work of art.

Each commission begins with your wedding flowers and is conceived as an original work of art. Guided by the flowers themselves, Angela determines the composition, color, materials, and artistic direction of each piece, creating a work that is entirely unique.

Angela creates each wedding commission personally, so she accepts only a limited number of commissions each year. Dates are reserved in the order inquiries arrive, and this year is already amost full. Please reach out as soon as your date is set. Your flowers need to reach the studio promptly after the wedding, so the date must be held in advance.
Flowers can be shipped to the studio, and Angela will send simple instructions for preserving them.
For weddings in the Olympia and Seattle areas, the studio offers a pickup service.
Fresh flowers should reach the studio within 2 days of the wedding.
You are commissioning an artist, and Angela creates the piece as an original work of art. That process depends on her having complete creative control, so the composition, color, materials, and design are hers alone to decide. Before she begins, you will receive sketches of the planned artwork.
Each piece takes approximately nine months from the time your flowers arrive at the studio.
Flowers change as they dry, and some colors shift. The finished piece is an original composition, so your flowers appear within Angela's artwork alongside painting and layered resin. They are not a replica of the bouquet you carried.
Some blooms may be too delicate or damaged to use. Angela selects the flowers that will serve the artwork and composes the piece from what is available.
Yes. Boutonnieres, bridesmaid bouquets, and other flowers from the day can be included in your commission. Please mention them when you reserve your date.
Small personal items, such as a piece of fabric or paper from the day, may be considered. Angela decides whether an item suits the work.
Hang the piece away from direct sunlight and heat, and dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Wedding commissions begin at $650. The final price depends on the scale and complexity of the work and is confirmed when you reserve your date.
Each artwork is created individually, and available sizes depend on the flowers and the composition. Size options will be discussed when your commission is reserved.
Yes. If your wedding flowers have already been dried or preserved, they may still be suitable for a commission. Angela will review their condition and determine how they can be incorporated into the artwork.
Yes. A small meaningful item connected to someone you would have wanted present on your wedding day can be incorporated into the artwork alongside your flowers, creating a subtle way to include their memory in the piece.
If you are considering transforming your wedding flowers into an original work of art, I encourage you to inquire as early as possible to reserve your date.
